UNISILKON LCA 3801

UNISILKON LCA 3801 is a special lubricating grease based on silicone oil and calcium soap, neutral in terms of bad odor and taste. It was mainly developed for sanitary applications as well as valves and fittings. UNISILKON LCA 3801 provides effective wetting even in narrow lubrication gaps and friction points that are difficult to reach.

Since the viscosity is not strongly affected by changing temperatures, uniform running smoothness is achieved with cold or hot water, e.g. in single-lever mixers with specific surface pressures of up to approximately 4 N/mm2, depending on the design of the ceramic cartridges.

UNISILKON LCA 3801 is resistant to most media and acid or alkaline disinfectants used in the beverage industry, but is not resistant to most organic solvents and strong acids or persimmons

UNISILKON LCA 3801 is used in all hygienic areas for the lubrication of ceramic parts of ceramic disc cartridges (surface pressure > 0.4 - 4 N / mm), hot-cold taps, piston and ball mixers. It can also be used as sealing grease or assembly auxiliary material for valves and fittings exposed to hot-cold water or water vapor in sanitary and heating installations.
UNISILKON LCA 3801 is neutral towards ceramics, metals, thermoplastics (e.g. ABS, PC) and elastomers (e.g. NBR, EPDM, VMQ). Since there are many different elastomer and plastic compositions, we recommend checking compatibility before mass application. UNISILKON LCA 3801 can be easily applied with special & Apply Oil technology such as brush, spatula, sponge or pad printing.

Suitable for all material combinations such as ceramic/ceramic, metal/plastic or elastomer.
Thanks to its load resistance, good water resistance and good adhesion to various material surfaces, it ensures proper and smooth operation of the product throughout its entire life.
Operating torque is almost constant at varying temperatures. It provides smooth and smooth operation up to 4 N/mm² surface pressure.
Hot and cold water resistance is very good.
It ensures the long life of the ceramic discs of the cartridges thanks to its good thermal stability, even when applied as a thin film layer.
It offers good sealing effect.
Compatible with most ceramics, metals, elastomers and plastics.
It has BWGL-KTW (UBA guideline), NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, ACS approvals for all friction points exposed to water or points in constant contact with drinking water. (Further confirmations may be available upon request.)
