KLUBERSYNTH GHE 6

Synthetic gear and circulation oil.

Klübersynth GHE 6 oils are polyglycol-based gear and circulation oils that offer high abrasion load capacity, aging and oxidation resistance. Klübersynth GHE 6 oils have a good viscosity temperature and excellent high temperature behavior, thanks to their polyglycol base oils.

  • Klübersynth GHE 6 oils have been specially developed for spur, mirror, planetary and worm gears.
  • Klübersynth GHE 6 oils are also used for the lubrication of rolling and plain bearings as well as all gear couplings.
  • Klübersynth GHE 6 can be applied by immersion, circulation and oil injection.
  • Klübersynth GHE 6 oils are immiscible with mineral oils and synthetic hydrocarbons. We recommend that you clean the lubrication points or gears before replacement or flush them with Klübersynth GHE 6 oil to be used after replacement.
  • Klübersynth GHE 6 oils are neutral towards ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
  • Friction may increase when contact is made with the surfaces of aluminum or aluminum alloy design elements exposed to dynamic loads. If necessary, preliminary tests can be performed. Sealing elements made of NBR can be used at constant temperatures up to 80°C. At higher temperatures, we recommend the use of seals made of FKM.
  • It should be noted that elastomers from one or more manufacturers behave differently and should be tested.
  • When applying Klübersynth GHE 6 oils we recommend the use of two-component paint for interior coatings. Oil measuring glasses should preferably be made of natural glass or polyimide material.
  • Other clear plastics, such as Plexiglas, tend to crack under too much stress.
  • The suitability of substances coming into contact with Klübersynth GHE 6 oils must be tested, especially before serial application.
  • Klübersynth GHE 6 oils last much longer than mineral oils, thanks to the excellent aging and oxidation resistance of the synthetic base oil. Thus, it provides longer maintenance intervals and, in some cases, lifetime lubrication.
  • High abrasion load resistance offers good abrasion protection even at high peak loads.
  • With good wear protection on gears and bearings, it prevents premature component failure and reduces maintenance and repair costs.
  • The optimum friction behavior of polyglycol base oil reduces power losses and increases efficiency.
  • Excellent viscosity-temperature behavior supports lubricant film formation even at high temperatures.
  • 72 NBR 902, 75 FKM 585 and 75 FKM 170055 seals are resistant to Klübersynth GHE 6 oils. Leakage and contamination are prevented.
