Synthetic hydraulic oils for the food and pharmaceutical industries

Klüberfood 4 NH 1-15...100 oils are synthetic hydrocarbon-based hydraulic oils. Thanks to the synthetic base oil, Klüberfood NH 1 oils provide good oxidation stability as well as good stability at low temperatures and protection against friction and wear. They meet the HLP requirements according to DIN 51524 part 2.

In addition to excellent corrosion stability, Klüberfood 4 NH 1 oils have a good water separation ability.

Klüberfood NH1 CH 2 oils are NSF H1 registered and thus comply with FDA 21 CFR § 178.3570. These products have been developed for points where there is a risk of incidental contact with packaging materials and products in the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and animal feed industries. The use of CH 2 oils contributes to increasing the safety of production processes. We still recommend performing an additional risk analysis such as HACCP.

  • Klüberfood 4 NH 1 hydraulic oils are used especially in the food and pharmaceutical industries
  • Klüberfood 4 NH 1 is miscible with mineral-based hydraulic oils, but to comply with food production standards, we recommend cleaning the entire system and flushing with new oil before using Klüberfood 4 NH 1 oils for the first time.
  • Flushing at a temperature of 50°C to 60°C removes residues and used oil from hydraulic equipment. We then recommend replacing all filters before restarting the system with Klüberfood 4 NH 1 oils.
  • With its fully synthetic base oil, it provides longer oil change intervals and lower operating costs in hydraulic systems.
  • As a result of the high oil stability, residue build-up and valve clogging are reduced compared to mineral hydraulic oils.
  • It supports food safety in your processes thanks to NSF H1 registration.
